50 mile run!

Will Buxton, a teaching assistant at the school, is taking on The Humber Bridge Challenge, a 50 mile run back and forth across the bridge! He is hoping to raise money for Global's Make Some Noise Charity, who support smaller charities related to children and families. The run will take place during half-term, on Monday 30th October, and Mr Buxton would be grateful for any support you could give him.

School fundraising activities

  • Sponsored sing - The children got sponsored to sing 15 songs back to back in the hall one afternoon. We raised a fantastic £515.59. The money raised went towards our music and drama fund in school which pays for trips out such as the Bridlington Big Sing, new instruments and lighting in the hall.
  • Harvest Festival - We asked the infant children this year to provide produce which we took to the Tesco Food Bank, the older children brought in monetary donations which we sent to Macmillan Cancer Fund. We raised £405.50 for Macmillan.
  • Children In Need - Friday 18th November 2016 .   We raised an amazing sum of £464.57!

Friday 18th November was Children in Need Day 2016. We enjoyed coming to school in our spots and Pudsey outfits.

In Merit Assembly we all sang 'Reach for the Stars' - we hope you enjoy watching the video.

Thank you to all staff, children and parents who made the day a success.
